Theme: Treasure Hunt Strategy
Design and build a remote-controlled device capable of sorting items. This competition aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of scientific principles and allow them to demonstrate their knowledge and application of science.
Competition Details
- Eligibility: All full-time secondary school students in Macau may participate as individuals or in teams (maximum 3 members per team).
- Categories: The competition is divided into Junior Secondary (Form 1-3) and Senior Secondary (Form 4-6) groups.
- Submission Limit: Each individual or team may submit only one entry.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded for both the Junior and Senior Secondary groups.
- Champion: Trophy, certificate, MOP 2500 gift voucher.
- First Runner-up: Trophy, certificate, MOP 2000 gift voucher.
- Second Runner-up: Trophy, certificate, MOP 1500 gift voucher.
- Judges' Special Recommendation Awards (10 awards,不分組): Trophy, certificate, MOP 1000 gift voucher.
Important Dates & Information
- Competition Briefing Session: November 11, 2017 (Saturday), 3:00 PM at the Communications Museum Auditorium. Reservations by phone or email are welcome.
- Registration: Online registration via the Communications Museum website (http://macao.communications.museum).
- Registration Deadline: December 14, 2017 (Thursday), 10:00 PM. The deadline is based on the time recorded by the Museum's system.
- Judging: Professional judges will be invited by the organizing institution. The judges' decision is final.
