Eligibility & Categories
- Open Category: All Macau residents and students enrolled in Macau tertiary institutions.
- Youth Category: All local primary and secondary school students.
Topic & Format
- Topic: Free choice.
- Format: Free format, including prose, fiction, stories, and other narrative forms. Poetry is excluded.
- Word Count: 800–2000 words.
Submission Specifications
- Submissions must be computer-typed; handwritten manuscripts are not accepted.
- Paper size: A4. Margins: Microsoft Word standard margins. Line spacing: single. Font: PMingLiU, size 12, black text.
- All submissions must not contain any identifying marks.
How to Participate
Submit your entry via email to [email protected] by 12:00 PM on October 31, 2017.
Include a separate page with the author's information:
- Name
- Gender
- Age
- ID Card Number
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
- Mobile Phone Number
- Copy of Student ID Card (not required for Open Category)
Announcement Date
Results will be announced on November 15, 2017 in major Chinese newspapers, on the organizer's website (www.mjmy.org.mo), and on the official WeChat account (WeChat ID: macaujmyouths).
Awards (for each category)
- First Prize (5 winners): Certificate and MOP 2,000 stationery allowance each.
- Second Prize (10 winners): Certificate and MOP 1,500 stationery allowance each.
- Third Prize (15 winners): Certificate and MOP 1,000 stationery allowance each.

Additional Rules
- Entries must be original, unpublished in any media. Each contestant may submit only one entry.
- Plagiarism or cheating is strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified, and the organizer reserves the right to pursue further action.
- Winners are obligated to attend award ceremonies and promotional events.
- Submitted manuscripts will not be returned; contestants should keep a copy.
- Copyright of winning entries belongs to the organizer, who has the right to publish them in any form without additional remuneration. Contestants must obtain written permission from the organizer to reprint, publish, or disseminate their work.
- The organizer reserves the right to amend the rules and make final decisions on competition results without prior notice.
