Event Overview
A multi-part youth development series organized by the Macao Community Youth Volunteer Development Association, focusing on life values, teamwork, and international service. The program culminates in a volunteer trip to Myanmar.
Objectives
- Enhance the comprehensive quality development of youth
- Cultivate correct life values
- Learn cooperation and communication through activity planning
- Broaden international perspectives and cherish life
Target Participants
- Members of the Macao Community Youth Volunteer Development Association aged 18–35
- Limited to 14 participants (selection will be made if applications exceed quota)
Activity Schedule
Part 1: Igniting Hope
- Date: March 25–26
- Content: Two-day, one-night team-building training to help participants get to know each other.
- Location: Hac Sa (Coloane)
Part 2: Fueling Hope
- Date: April 9 (Sunday afternoon)
- Content: Workshop to better understand Myanmar's social situation.
- Location: Association Office
Part 3: Social Service
- Date: To be completed by June 18
- Content: Participants plan and execute their own volunteer activities to give back to the community.
Part 4: Visit and Exchange Experience (Myanmar Trip)
- Date: August 12–18
- Content: Participants will travel to the suburbs of Myanmar to provide volunteer services for local residents.
- Cost: HKD 5,700 (includes the HKD 1,500 paid upon registration)
- Note: Myanmar visa fee is NOT included.
Part 5: Sharing Session
- Date: Late August
- Content: Photo and video appreciation, sharing experiences and feelings from the series.
Fees
- Registration Fee: MOP 200
- Part 4 Deposit: HKD 1,500 (counted towards the final trip fee of HKD 5,700)
