Event Overview
The Macau Latin City Grand Parade, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM), is an annual platform for local artistic groups to showcase their creativity and talent. It aims to foster the diverse development of Macau's cultural sector and create opportunities for exchange and observation with performance troupes from around the world.
This year's parade, celebrating the 17th anniversary of Macau's return to China, will be held on December 4 (Sunday). The Cultural Affairs Bureau is now conducting an open call for registered local organizations to participate in the grand celebration.
Theme & Details
- Theme: "VIVA仔奇遇記" (VIVA仔's Adventure). The story follows VIVA仔, inspired by the "Classic of Mountains and Seas," as he journeys from Macau to the East to explore various cultures, ultimately discovering that the best destination is his own starting point.
- Participation Options: Troupes can choose to:
- Participate only in the parade.
- Participate in both the parade and the closing ceremony stage performance at Tap Seac Square.
- Stage Performance Requirement: Troupes applying for the closing ceremony must create a 3-minute stage performance based on the year's theme.
- Award: The best performance at the closing ceremony will be selected. The winning troupe will have the opportunity to represent Macau at the "Asian Ethnic Cultural Parade" event in Hong Kong.

About the Parade
Launched in 2011, the parade is an annual artistic procession centered around Macau's Historic Centre. It has grown into a major festive brand, attracting numerous local and overseas participants, citizens, and tourists to celebrate Macau's anniversary with joy and vibrancy.
