About the Competition

From the era of A-Ma Temple and the Ruins of St. Paul's to today, Macau is a city brimming with historical stories and collective memories. Yet, Macau is also a contemporary city. In this "great era," it is essential for you and me to actively focus on the present, contribute to our society, and speak up—because we, and our Macau, deserve a future that is constantly better than the past.

Walking through the streets of Macau, what aspects do you think need improvement? What areas have the potential to be better? We are now launching the "Macau Search" Photography Competition. We look forward to your lens capturing and presenting the areas where Macau can improve!

Competition Details

• Theme: Capture and record "Areas where Macau can improve."
• Submission Period: From now until May 15, 12:00 AM (midnight).
• Entry Fee: Free to enter.
• Submission Limit: Each participant can submit 1 to 3 photographic works.

Prizes

• Champion: MOP 1,000 cash prize + certificate.
• 1st Runner-up: MOP 800 cash prize + certificate.
• 2nd Runner-up: MOP 500 cash prize + certificate.

How to Participate & Submission Requirements

Important: 50% of the scoring for entries will depend on the number of likes/shares the photo receives on the competition's official Facebook page. Please ensure any shares are set to public to be counted.

For each submitted photo, the following must be provided in a Word document:

1. A caption of 50 words or more, including a message for Macau.
2. Title of the work.
3. Participant's name.
4. First four digits of the participant's Macau ID card number.
5. Contact phone number.
6. Contact email address.

Submission Instructions

1. Email your entry to: [email protected] (A confirmation reply will be sent upon successful receipt).
2. Email Subject: "2015 青年峰會攝影比賽_[Participant's Name]" (Please use Traditional Chinese).
3. Attachment Naming: Name your files as "[Participant's Name]_[Number]." (e.g., First photo: 01, second: 02, etc.).
4. Attach: The photo(s) in JPEG format and the corresponding Word document(s) with the required information.
