To bid farewell to 2015 together with Macau's residents and visitors, the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), Cultural Affairs Bureau, and Macao Government Tourism Office will host the "2015 Macau Countdown Concert" at Sai Van Lake Plaza at 10:00 PM on New Year's Eve. A separate "2015 Taipa Countdown Party" will be held at Taipa Houses-Museum at 9:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to participate and celebrate the arrival of the new year.
The "2015 Macau Countdown Concert" will feature performances by renowned Hong Kong artists and a lineup of talented Macau singers.
The night promises energetic songs and dynamic dances for a lively New Year's Eve celebration. At the stroke of midnight, ushering in 2016, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sea in front of the Macau Tower, welcoming the new year with all residents and visitors.
To allow more people to enjoy the festivities, large TV screens will be set up at the following locations on New Year's Eve:
Additionally, the co-organizer Teledifusão de Macau (TDM) will broadcast the event live on its Chinese TV channel and Chinese radio station.
