Event Overview
The 2015 Macao Tourism Awareness Program 'Macao Adventure' City Orienteering Competition is a community event designed to deepen local residents' understanding of Macao's tourism development, resources, and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Through a fun, team-based orienteering challenge, the event aims to foster family and youth integration and highlight the importance of civic responsibility.
Event Purpose
- To enhance Macao residents' knowledge of local tourism development and resources.
- To familiarize participants with Macao's World Heritage sites and community facilities.
- To strengthen integration within families and youth teams through cooperative participation.
- To emphasize the importance of civic quality and responsibility.
Event Format
- Multiple checkpoints are set up across the city.
- Participants navigate through these checkpoints in a challenge-based format.
- Tasks are designed to educate participants about Macao's World Heritage and community infrastructure.
- Participants are required to fulfill both assigned and self-determined civic duties, reinforcing their civic awareness.
- Awards are given based on task completion, including Champion, Runner-up, Third Place, Fourth Place, and a 'Best Spirit' award.
Target Participants
- Family Group: Primarily for families. Must include at least one child currently attending primary school.
- Youth Group: For participants aged 12 to 30. Teams of 2-4 people.
- Note: Participation is limited to Macao residents only.

- Submit the completed form in person at the Macao Federation of Neighborhood Associations (UGAMM) Civic Education Centre, 2nd Floor, Hop Wo Industrial Building, 163-165 Avenida do Almirante Lacerda, Macao.

- Registration Deposit: MOP $30 per team. The deposit will be refunded to participants after the event concludes.
