The Badminton Federation of Macau proudly presents the 2014 Macau Open Badminton, now part of the prestigious BWF Grand Prix Gold Series. This marks the ninth consecutive year the federation has organized this world-class tournament, which boasts a total prize pool of approximately MOP 1,000,000 (USD 120,000). The event will be held at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, bringing together elite athletes from across the globe.
Since its inception in 2006, the Macau Open has established itself as a premier international badminton competition. Each year, it attracts around 300 athletes from approximately 20 countries to compete in five categories: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
