Program Overview
An initiative under the "Caring for Youth Development Funding Scheme," the 2013 Youth Cherish Life Program aims to foster a caring attitude towards life among young people. By engaging with the resilience of abandoned animals fighting for survival, participants will experience the preciousness of life. The program encourages youth to develop a spirit of caring for animals and cherishing life, building a positive image and promoting the value of life among young people.
Key Details
- Target Participants: Macau youth aged 16–35
- Application Venue: Fai Chi Kei Community Centre (Youth Volunteer Group) (3rd Floor, Fai Chi Kei Market)
- Application Process: Submit the completed application form along with the required fee to the organizing association. If the number of applicants exceeds the recruitment quota, the organizer will conduct a selection process.

- Fees: The program is free to join. A refundable deposit of MOP 50 is required, which will be returned upon completion of Activities 1–3.
Program Structure
The program will recruit 50 young people passionate about serving animals. It revolves around the message "Cherish Life, Love Animals." Through organizing and planning activities, participants will learn to value life and establish a correct outlook on life. The program consists of four parts. After completing Activities 1–3, the association will select outstanding participants for Activity 4.
Activity 1: Kick-off Ceremony

Activity 2: Carnival
- Adoption Charity Day – Food Donation Drive
- Animal-related activities (organized and planned by the participants themselves)
- Date: Late May to Late June
Activity 3: Sharing Session
- Date: Early July
- Location: To be confirmed
Activity 4: Experience Trip (For selected outstanding "Youth Heart Ambassadors")
- Date: Mid-August (To be confirmed)
- Content: Selected ambassadors will visit Taiwan for an exchange. Participants are required to pay a portion of the Taiwan trip expenses, approximately HKD 1,500 (excluding visa and airport taxes).
