Event Overview
A creative coloring competition organized to promote traffic safety awareness among children in Macao.
Theme
"斑馬線，齊善用，安全出行樂融融" (Let's use zebra crossings together for a safe and happy journey).
Purpose
To enhance children's understanding of correctly and safely using zebra crossings when crossing the road through coloring and creative drawing, fostering good pedestrian habits from a young age.
Target Participants
Children aged 4 to 12 residing in Macao.
Competition Groups
- Group A: Ages 4–6 (born between 2007 and 2009).
- Group B: Ages 7–9 (born between 2004 and 2006).
- Group C: Ages 10–12 (born between 2001 and 2003).
Competition Format
Participants must join the appropriate age group. They will color a provided A3 drawing and also create additional artwork within a designated space to enrich the original content.
Prizes
Each group will award the following prizes:
- Champion (1): Trophy + MOP 800 Book Voucher.
- 1st Runner-up (1): Trophy + MOP 500 Book Voucher.
- 2nd Runner-up (1): Trophy + MOP 300 Book Voucher.
- 3rd Runner-up (1): Trophy + MOP 200 Book Voucher.
- Merit Award (5): Trophy + MOP 100 Book Voucher.
Participants will receive a souvenir upon submission (while stocks last).
Submission & Collection Locations
Participants can collect the drawing template and submit their completed work at the following locations:
- Transport Bureau Service Zone: 2/F, China Plaza, Avenida da Praia Grande 762-804.
- Public Security Police Force Traffic Department: Traffic Department Building, Estrada de Adolfo Loureiro.
- Northern District Civic Service Centre: Government Services Complex, Rua Nova da Areia Preta No. 52.
- Islands District Civic Service Centre: Edifício Chun Fai, Rua do Regedor 75K, Taipa.
- Central District Civic Service Centre: 3/F, San Ma Lou Building, Lote 5 e 7, Rotunda de Carlos da Maia.
Submission Guidelines
- Participants must complete the form on the back of the drawing (personal details must not be written on the front) and submit it to one of the locations above.
- Submissions that do not comply with the rules will not be processed. All entries are non-returnable.
Submission Deadline
From now until June 30, 2013.
Judging Criteria
- Creativity: 35%
- Use of Color: 25%
- Relevance to Theme: 20%
- Overall Composition: 20%
Important Notes
- Each participant may submit only one entry. Duplicate entries may be removed at the organizers' discretion.
- Copyright and usage rights of winning entries belong to the organizers.
- Winning works may be used for future promotional purposes.
- Entries must not contain any identifying information of the participant.
- Entries must be original work. Plagiarism will result in the participant bearing all legal responsibility for any intellectual property disputes.
- All submissions are final and non-returnable, implying the participant's understanding and acceptance of these terms.
- The organizers reserve the right to make final decisions on any matters not covered in these rules.
