Event Overview
The 2013 Macau All-Student Paper Airplane Competition is now open for registration. Organized by the Macau Innovation and Invention Association, this marks the third consecutive year of this exciting event. It aims to foster creativity and scientific interest among students.
Eligibility & Participation
- Open to students from Macau's tertiary institutions and secondary schools.
- Macau students studying at invited tertiary institutions in Mainland China are also eligible.
- Participants must form teams to compete.
- All participating students will receive a certificate of participation.
Competition Categories & Prizes
The competition features two main categories for both Team and Individual entries:
- Longest Flight Time
- Longest Flight Distance
Team Awards (Tertiary & Secondary School Categories)
- Champion: MOP 2,000 cash prize, a trophy for the team, and a medal for each team member.
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 1,500 cash prize, a trophy for the team, and a medal for each team member.
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 1,000 cash prize, a trophy for the team, and a medal for each team member.
Individual Awards (Tertiary & Secondary School Categories)
- Champion: MOP 1,500 cash prize, a trophy, and a medal.
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 1,000 cash prize, a trophy, and a medal.
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 500 cash prize, a trophy, and a medal.
Key Dates & Venue
- Registration Deadline: November 16, 2013, 6:00 PM.
- Competition Date: December 1, 2013, 1:00 PM.
- Venue: Macau Polytechnic University Sports Complex.
