Competition Purpose
This competition provides a simulated platform for participants to hone their investment mindset. It aims to help contestants gain broader practical investment experience, learn to apply more investment knowledge and skills, and conduct simulated investment activities in a compliant, fair, and just manner. The goal is to reduce speculative mentality and enhance financial literacy.
Key Details
- Competition Period: September 30 to November 29, 2013 (9 weeks).
- Eligibility: Students aged 18 or above enrolled in tertiary institutions in Macao.
- Registration Period: September 9 to 20, 2013.

Competition Format
- Participants compete individually. After completing registration and receiving a confirmation email, they will be granted a virtual stock trading account with a preset virtual capital of HKD 1,000,000.
- Trading is conducted online via http://www.bocmyth.org.mo during specified trading periods.
- The competition is divided into three stages, each lasting three weeks. At the end of each stage, account profits/losses are settled, recorded, and the virtual capital is reset to HKD 1,000,000 before the next stage begins.
- The results of the first two stages are calculated independently, with the top 5 accounts by profit/loss declared as winners for each stage.
- The final winners are determined by the cumulative total profit/loss across all three stages, with the top 20 accounts by cumulative profit declared the overall winners.
Prizes
- A total of 30 prizes are available, including 2 iPad Minis, cash vouchers, and scholarships totaling up to MOP 30,000.
- Additionally, the top 20 accounts with the highest final cumulative profit will receive commemorative certificates from the organizers.
