Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a topic of global concern. The Junior Chamber International Macau China has been dedicated to promoting CSR in Macau since 2007. Over the past five years, the organization has used forums to introduce CSR concepts—from basic principles to specific issues—to local enterprises and young people. The goal is to inspire new management concepts within Macau's business community and highlight the importance of CSR for both corporate development and the future of society.
As an international organization of active young citizens, JCI Macau China has consistently worked to promote the United Nations Global Compact and popularize CSR culture in Macau. Since its first expert forum in 2007, it has progressively introduced these concepts to businesses and non-profit organizations, building cross-sectoral social innovation networks and collaborative platforms to drive sustainable social development.
