The Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association presents its annual New Year Concert. This 18th edition features Russian-Austrian conductor Alexei Mikhaylenko, who has led the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and conducted its China tour. Portuguese soprano Silvia Sequeira and mezzo-soprano Ana Rita Coelho return to perform with the orchestra. The concert will also feature solo performances by Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra members Xu Enqing (oboe) and Ouyang Weiting (flute), both currently pursuing master's degrees at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
