Program Overview

This training program aims to enhance the political participation and civic awareness of Macao's youth. Participants will embark on a journey with the 'Political Participation Squad' to explore key aspects of governance and public affairs.

Program Highlights

• Political Participation Training Seminars: In-depth lectures on governance and civic duties.
• Current Affairs Discussion Workshops: Interactive sessions to discuss and analyze contemporary issues.
• Policy Research Projects: Hands-on research on specific policy topics.
• Simulated Press Conference / Simulated Parliament: Practical exercises in public communication and legislative debate.
• Field Visits: On-site inspections to understand real-world governance and community operations.
• External Exchange Visits: Opportunities for cross-border learning and dialogue.

Target Participants

• Aged 18 to 45 (born between 1979 and 2006).
• Macao residents holding a Macao Identification Card.

Important Dates & Fees

• Application Period: From now until June 19, 2024.
• Interview Dates: June 22 and 23, 2024. (Alternative arrangements may be made for special circumstances, but this could affect scoring).
• Program Dates: July to September 2024, held on Saturdays (excluding some specific dates).
• Program Fees:
  • MOP 500 for Macao Youth Federation (MYF) members.
  • MOP 800 for non-members.

Application Process

1. Submit your application by June 19.
2. The Macao Youth Federation will notify confirmed interview times via phone by June 21.
3. Attend the interview on the scheduled date.
4. Final admission results will be confirmed via email after the interview.
