Overview
The 15th Macao Youth Fashion Technology Competition is organized by the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) to nurture and enhance the skills of young people aspiring to enter the fashion industry. The competition aims to unleash their creative potential and prepare them for a future career in fashion.
Competition Details
- Theme: Space Party
- Format: The competition consists of two parts: sewing skills and creative design.
- Task: Participants must cut and sew a specified style of dress using an industrial sewing machine within a designated time frame of 20 hours. They must also apply creative design elements based on the theme.
- Pre-competition Training: CPTTM will offer a preparatory training course of approximately 39 hours over one month before the competition. This course will teach sewing techniques, machine operation, and how to transform inspiration into creative fashion applications.
