Overview
Join the global Design for Change (DFC) movement! This challenge empowers children and youth in over 70 countries to change the world by following four simple steps: Feel, Imagine, Do, and Share. Participants submit reports, presentations, or videos detailing their creative journey to solve real-world problems.
Details
- Target Participants: Macao residents (permanent and non-permanent) aged 6 to 17.
- Format: Participate individually or in teams of up to 5 members, guided by 1-2 adults for coordination.
- Challenge Process:
- Feel: Identify a problem in your community you want to solve.
- Imagine: Brainstorm innovative and unique solutions.
- Do: Gather resources and implement your action plan (must be carried out between May 1, 2021, and the submission deadline).
- Share: Share your DFC story to inspire others and create a wider impact.
Submission Requirements
- Language: Chinese or English.
- Content: Must include project title, team name, and a clear demonstration of all four DFC steps.
- Documentation: Record the entire process through photos, videos, audio, or written logs.
- Format: Submit as a video (3-5 minute MP4), presentation (PPT/PPTX), or report (DOC/DOCX/PDF).
Awards & Recognition
- Seven Featured Stories: Winning team members receive a medal, certificate, and an opportunity to share their project and participate in a special experience.
- Outstanding Guide Award (7 awards): Guides of the winning teams receive a certificate and a prize.
- Most Popular Award: All verified submissions are eligible for public voting. The team with the highest votes receives a special gift for each member.
- Certificate: All participants who complete the four steps and submit their work will receive an internationally recognized participation certificate.
