Competition Theme: Macau Affection ‧ China Dream
Every Macau resident carries a special affection for Macau. We love her prosperity and her purity. As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the handover, this year holds profound significance for our nation, Macau, and everyone around us. Let us use exquisite fashion art illustrations to express our love for Macau and our affection for our motherland.
Categories & Eligibility
- Student Category – Individuals born between 2001 and 2005, aged 14-18, holding a Macau Resident Identity Card, currently enrolled in day or night school.
- Open Category – Individuals born in 2000 or earlier, aged 19 or above, holding a Macau Resident Identity Card.
Submission Requirements
- Originality: Entries must be original fashion illustrations that have not been publicly published and must not involve intellectual property or other legal disputes.
- Medium: Techniques are unrestricted (gouache, markers, paper-cutting, crayons, watercolor, Photoshop, etc.). If created digitally, please include the electronic file (JPEG or AI) with the submission.
- Dimensions: Artwork must be on A3 paper (297mm x 420mm, landscape or portrait orientation acceptable).
- Mounting: Entries must be mounted on black cardstock no less than 250gsm, with mounting dimensions of 380mm x 520mm.
- Practicality: Designs should consider the wearability and practicality of the clothing.
- Submission Format: Submitted works must remain flat. Mailed submissions using rolled tubes will not be accepted. Entries not meeting size and mounting requirements will not be judged.

Student Category
- Gold Award (1): MOP 1,500 cash prize, certificate, and trophy.
- Silver Award (1): MOP 1,200 cash prize, certificate, and trophy.
- Bronze Award (1): MOP 1,000 cash prize, certificate, and trophy.
- Merit Awards (6): Certificate and trophy.
Open Category
- Gold Award (1): MOP 3,000 cash prize, certificate, and trophy.
- Silver Award (1): MOP 2,500 cash prize, certificate, and trophy.
- Bronze Award (1): MOP 2,000 cash prize, certificate, and trophy.
- Merit Awards (6): Certificate and trophy.
Note: Winners under 18 years old must have their prize money collected by a guardian.
Entry Guidelines
- Eligibility: Participants must hold a Macau Resident Identity Card.
- Registration: Participants can first log in to https://events.cpttm.org.mo to fill in personal details and the competition theme for online registration.
- Workshop: The Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center will hold a "Fashion Illustration Technique Sharing Workshop" on Saturday, May 25, 2019, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Garment Technology Exchange Point. Interested individuals are welcome to visit https://events.cpttm.org.mo to register.
- Submission Deadline: Entries and registration forms must be submitted or mailed to "Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center – Garment Technology Exchange Point, 10th Floor, Ocean Industrial Center Phase 2, Avenida dos Pescadores, Macau" by 9:00 PM on June 19, 2019.
- Entry Limits: Participants may submit unlimited entries, but each entry is limited to one person. Each participant can win a maximum of two awards, and winners of the top three prizes cannot be repeated.
- Labeling: The back of each entry must indicate the artwork title, name, gender, category, school/employer, contact phone number, and email.
- Rights: Winning entries become the property of the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to use all entries for promotion, publication, exhibition, and souvenir production.
- Collection: Entries must be collected from the "Garment Technology Exchange Point" within one month after the exhibition ends. Unclaimed works will be disposed of by the center without further notice.
- Commemorative Certificate: Participants wishing to apply for a commemorative certificate should indicate so on the registration form.

- Judging Panel: Composed of 5-7 local fashion designers, painting experts, and art professionals.
