Course Overview
This course is designed to enhance the professional management of volunteer services in Macau. It aims to equip leaders and managers of volunteer organizations with essential skills and knowledge.
Objectives
- Enhance the management skills of volunteer organization leaders in overseeing volunteer work.
- Assist various institutions and societies in cultivating volunteers.
- Promote the professionalization of volunteer work in Macau.
Course Content
- Management and supervision of volunteer work.
- Financial planning, evaluation, and reporting for volunteer services.
- Planning and organization of volunteer service projects.
- Human resource management for volunteer services.
- Recognition and reward systems for volunteers.
- Service internship (to be scheduled by participants).
Key Details
- Target Participants: Youth aged 13 to 29.
- Class Size: 50-60 participants.
- Registration Period: From now until October 3, 2013.
Registration & Fees
- All applicants are subject to a selection process. The final participant list will be announced after screening.
- Confirmation of participation is based on fee payment. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in replacement by waitlisted applicants.
- Course Fee: MOP 100 (to be submitted in cash at the association's office after initial workshop selection).
- Refund Policy: Participants with 100% attendance will receive a refund of MOP 80 and will be awarded a certificate.
- All fees are non-refundable once paid.
- The organizing association reserves the final right of interpretation for all event matters.
Priority Conditions
- Priority given to applicants recommended by societies/associations.
- Volunteer leaders from various institutions and societies.
- Applicants with prior volunteer work experience.
