This course enables students to learn basic TCM theories, understand the pathways of the twelve main meridians, and comprehend the functions of major acupoints. Through self-acupoint massage, participants can learn to maintain a strong physique, promote blood and Qi circulation, alleviate discomfort from ailments, and practice effective health preservation methods.

- The philosophical foundation and main methodologies of TCM (Essence-Qi, Yin-Yang, Five Elements).
- Introduction to the basic functions of Qi, Blood, Zang-Fu organs, and meridians in TCM.
- TCM understanding of disease etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment.
Preliminary Understanding
- Understanding meridians: The Twelve Regular Meridians and the Eight Extraordinary Meridians.
- Recognition and functions of major acupoints within the meridians.
