Why is there a star on top of the Christmas tree? Where is that star located in the sky? What is the significance of this star?
The Macao Science Center Planetarium will host a series of two-session parent-child astronomy classes, led by Macao Science Center staff. The classes will utilize the planetarium's simulated starry sky and solar system models. Workshops are also included for making rotating star charts, globes, and more, allowing children and parents to complete related handicrafts together and enhance parent-child bonding.

Although Christmas winter is cold, it boasts a brilliant starry sky. Out of the 22 first-magnitude stars in the entire sky, 10 are visible in winter. Journey through the winter sky with Santa Claus, find the king of winter constellations—Orion—and use it as a guide to locate the main features of the winter sky: the "Winter Triangle" and the "Winter Hexagon," and learn about the mysterious myths of the winter sky.
