Psychodrama, created by Austrian psychiatrist J.L. Moreno, is a psychotherapeutic method with a history spanning nearly 90 years since the 1920s. Its applications encompass psychological healing for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, and it can also be utilized in communities, families, schools, and various fields dealing with grief and loss.
In Psychodrama, the instructor employs dramatic techniques. Through processes of warm-up, enactment, sharing, and review, a person's internal life events are recreated. This allows the individual to see their own situation, difficulties, and constraints, thereby re-experiencing their life and connecting with their inner thoughts, words, and actions. The individual can also respond with self-love, acceptance, and integration, returning to the essence of life.
This training invites Teacher Lin Ciyue from Taiwan and her Psychodrama team to Macau. Teacher Lin is a Psychodrama Director and Trainer (T.E.P) certified by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, and a director of the International Zerka Moreno Institute. In 2013, she was appointed as a director and the Continuing Education Committee Chair of the Taiwan Counseling Psychologist Association, responsible for planning continuing education and supervision training courses for Taiwanese counseling psychologists. She currently serves as a continuing education committee member for the Taiwan Counseling Association. For many years, she has been invited to lead Psychodrama growth or training groups in schools, hospitals, and community organizations.
