With the Macau government actively cultivating Chinese-Portuguese bilingual talent, learning Portuguese has become increasingly popular in recent years. Seize this opportunity for self-improvement and learn a language that is beneficial for both daily life and the workplace.

Organized by the 'Language Club' under MMA and funded by the Macao Foundation, the 'Portuguese Course - Workplace Portuguese for Beginners' is now open for registration.

The course is taught by a professional Portuguese instructor, focusing on practical application. Participants will learn basic business vocabulary, Portuguese grammar, common phrases, and daily conversations. It is particularly suitable for individuals interested in or needing to improve their spoken Portuguese for work (some basic Portuguese knowledge is preferred).

• Course: Portuguese Course - Workplace Portuguese for Beginners
• Dates: July 2 to October 22, 2022, every Saturday (except October 1, 2022)
• Total Hours: 32 hours, 16 sessions
• Schedule: 11:00 - 13:00
• Location: Classroom on the 16th Floor, Macau Management Association
• Fees:

  • Non-members: MOP 300

According to the latest epidemic prevention guidelines of the Macau SAR Government, participants must present proof of completion of the primary COVID-19 vaccination series at least 14 days prior (i.e., having received 2 or more doses with a gold/purple health code frame), or provide a negative nucleic acid test result for COVID-19 within 7 days. Entry will not be permitted without the required proof.
