Course Overview
With technological advancements, music production is no longer as difficult as it used to be. If you have always been a listener without any foundational music knowledge, you can now take an active role in creating and producing your own music, a hobby that has become popular among the younger generation.
Of course, music isn't just about technology; it also requires creativity, music theory, and related knowledge to produce more coherent music. This course is based on foundational principles, allowing music enthusiasts who are not just listeners to have the opportunity to learn how to use computer software to create simple music in this short-term course.
Key Details
- Class Size: 15 people
- Duration: 18 hours total
- Schedule: January 2 to January 21, 2020. Every Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Location: iCentre, Amateur Further Education Centre, 18/F, Unit S.T., Kin Heng Long Plaza, No. 258 Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, NAPE, Macau.
- Fee: MOP $3,600
- Software: GarageBand / Logic Pro X (English software)
Certificate & Subsidy
- A certificate will be issued upon achieving 70% attendance.
- A 50% tuition fee subsidy is available.
- This course is NOT part of the Continuing Education Development Plan (DSEDJ).
- Non-Macau residents must pay the full tuition fee and are not eligible for the subsidy.

Entry Requirements
- Must be able to use an English computer operating system.
Target Audience
- Specifically designed for individuals with no music background but an interest in music creation/production.
- Learn to create simple music in 6 lessons.
- The course is taught in Cantonese. The software is in English, so students must possess English reading skills and basic computer knowledge.
