Course Purpose

This course will teach the methods and concepts of composition. The course content progresses from basic to advanced, covering various knowledge related to composition, such as compositional motives, phrases, sections, musical forms, orchestration, etc.

• How to create melodies
• Thematic melodies, analyzing creative ideas
• Melody writing techniques
• How to create intros, interludes, and outro music
• Analyzing creative ideas
• How to enhance songs
• Composition practice

• Class A Schedule: December 30, 2019 – February 3, 2020 (Every Monday, 20:30–22:00)
• Tuition: MOP $910 for 6 sessions
