Course Overview

The 14th Photography Art Foundation Course 2022, organized by the St. Lazarus Creative Industries Promotion Association and the Fantasia 10 Creative Garden, is now open for enrollment. This course aims to teach the foundational theories of photographic art and develop visual storytelling skills.

Course Objectives

• Teach the foundational theories of photographic art.
• Master image comprehension and interpretation.
• Explain angles, composition, and relationships.
• Apply photographic thinking to "paint with a camera" and tell stories with images.
• Promote photographic art and cultivate talent through practical application.

Course Content

• Instruction on photography principles and foundational theory.
• Practical exercises to verify theory and establish visual thinking.

Eligibility

• Macau residents aged 16 or above.
• Requires some basic knowledge of photography.

Course Details

• Start Date: May 10, 2022
• Application Deadline: Until May 9, 2022
• Class Schedule: From May 10 to June 9, 2022. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM.
• Number of Sessions: 12 sessions
• Duration per Session: 1.5 hours
• Total Hours: 18 hours
• Venue: St. Lazarus Creative Industries Promotion Association, No. 5A Rua de São Miguel, St. Lazarus District, Macau.
• Fee: MOP 1,200
• Note: This course is NOT included in the Continuing Education Development Plan (DSEDJ funding).

• Required Documents: Completed application form, one 1.5-inch ID photo, and the course fee.
• Enrollment: First-come, first-served basis (based on the date and time the application is processed). Fees must be paid upon submission of the application form.

• The course fee does not include material costs unless otherwise specified.
• Fees must be paid in Macau Patacas (MOP) in cash. A receipt will be issued upon payment.
• All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel any course under special circumstances and will notify affected students for refund procedures.
• The organizer retains the right of final interpretation of the above terms.
