Join the Macao Cultural Centre Children's Choir! This program provides high-quality music education and engaging activities for children aged 8-16 through weekly choral rehearsals. The choir aims to inspire musical potential, boost confidence, and foster interest in the performing arts.
Established in 2004, the Macao Cultural Centre Children's Choir has participated in numerous major performances and events. Past highlights include concerts with the French Saint-Marc Children's Choir and Grammy Award winner Bobby McFerrin, as well as local public events like ARTmusing Children's Day, Macao Latin City Parade, and Christmas/New Year lighting ceremonies. The choir has also been invited by Caritas Macau and World Vision to perform at charity events.
Beyond singing practice and performances, members participate in diverse activities such as visits to Fu Hong Society and the Blind Rehabilitation Centre, nature outings, exploring Macao's old districts, and music exchanges. These experiences help children integrate into different communities and learn to appreciate and observe the world around them.
Application forms can be downloaded from the Cultural Centre website. Submit the completed form at the Macao Cultural Centre or any Macauticket outlet.
