Course Overview
To encourage creativity in children and youth and promote the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education philosophy, the Macao Science Center will organize the "LEGO® Education Interactive Classroom" during the summer holiday from July 3 to August 31. This program aims to cultivate children's ability to integrate and apply knowledge in technology and mathematics, allowing them to learn diverse scientific knowledge and enjoy hands-on activities such as building with LEGO bricks, assembling models, and programming LEGO robots.
Course Offerings (All courses are conducted in Cantonese)
The "LEGO® Education Interactive Classroom" offers the following five types of courses:
- LEGO Education Little Scientist (LEGO® Education DUPLO®)
- Suitable for children aged 3–5
- Requires one parent to accompany the child during the class
- LEGO City Animator (LEGO® Education Story Starter)
- Suitable for children aged 6
- Requires one parent to accompany the child during the class
- LEGO Education Creative Scientist (LEGO® Education Simple Machines) and LEGO Education Engineering & Robotics Classroom (LEGO® Education WeDo2.0)
- Suitable for children aged 7–9
- LEGO Education Engineering & Robotics Classroom (LEGO® Education MINDSTORMS® EV3)
- Suitable for children aged 7–9 and youth aged 10 or above
Key Information
- Total Classes: 154 classes
- Total Slots: Over 1,200 places available
- Eligibility: Children and youth holding a Macau Resident Identity Card
- Registration Fee: MOP 200 per class
- Registration Period: May 29 (Monday), 10:00 AM to June 1 (Thursday), 5:00 PM

- Registration Process: Select the appropriate course based on the participant's age, complete the corresponding online registration form, and enter the participant's name and the last four digits of their Macau ID number.
- Announcement of Results: The list of successful applicants will be available on the Center's website, Facebook page, and WeChat subscription account from June 2.
- Fee Payment: All successful applicants must pay the course fee in person at the Center's ticket office from June 3 to 7.
Summer Experience Class
During the summer holiday, children visiting the Center can also register on-site for the "LEGO® Education Interactive Classroom" experience class.
- Fee: MOP 50 per session
- Available Slots: Over 2,000 places
- Special Offer: Those who purchase a LEGO® Education Learn to Learn set at the Center's gift shop can attend one "LEGO Education Introductory Class" for free.
