Introduction
Kidult Education Centre's Summer STEM Programme introduces activity-based scientific research courses co-organized by Macau Cosi Education and the University of Macau. It is suitable for children from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Upon completion, participants will receive a STEM Integrated Course Level 1 Certificate.
Course Objectives
- Train teamwork skills
- Connect scientific knowledge from the curriculum with real-life situations to stimulate children's curiosity about new things and knowledge
- Cultivate students' self-confidence and hands-on abilities
- Allow children to learn through practice
- Strengthen foundational mathematics training
Course Details
- Duration: 8 sessions, 1.5 hours per session (Total: 12 hours)
- Fee: MOP 1,600
- Class Size: 6 to 10 students per class
- Venue: 7/F, Unit Q, Women's Federation Building No. 202, Rua do Campo, Macau
- Certificate: STEM Integrated Course Level 1 Certificate awarded upon completion
Class Schedule (2021)
For Primary 1 to Primary 3
- Class A: Saturdays in July & August, 14:00–15:30 (July 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 21, 28)
- Class B: Sundays in July & August, 14:00–15:30 (July 4, 11, 18, 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22)
For Primary 4 to Primary 6
- Class C: Saturdays in July & August, 15:30–17:00 (July 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 21, 28)
- Class D: Sundays in July & August, 15:30–17:00 (July 4, 11, 18, 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22)
