Ceramic objects are closely connected to our daily lives. This course aims to integrate ceramic art into the public by teaching fundamental ceramic techniques such as coil building, clay moisturizing, shaping, and glazing. Students can freely create unique ceramic tableware or small decorations based on their personal preferences and habits.
Session 1: Students sketch and create a small draft. The instructor demonstrates coil building techniques and key points for clay moisturizing.
Session 2: Students create their main piece and add decorations.
Session 3: Students refine and shape their work.
Session 4: Students sand their pieces. The instructor will then bisque-fire the works.
