Course Overview

Organized by Theatre Farmers, co-organized by Guangdong Performance Co., Ltd. (Guangzhou) and Chung Ying Theatre Company (Hong Kong), and funded by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macao, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Drama Festival 2016 Playwriting Training Course will be held from September to December.

Instructor Lineup

This course features a top-tier lineup of playwriting instructors from Hong Kong and Macao.

Lead Instructor:

• Zhu Fengxian (Macao): An award-winning playwright whose works have been adapted into internationally acclaimed films.

Guest Instructors:

• From Macao: Li Yuliang, Xu Guoquan (Big Bird), Huang Shuhui.
• From Hong Kong: Gu Tiannong, Pan Huisen, Zhang Feifan.

Course Objectives & Opportunities

This training program is designed to prepare participants for the scriptwriting competition of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Drama Festival 2017," scheduled for January to March of the following year.

• Winning entries will be compiled and published in a book.
• Selected works will have the opportunity to be produced and performed on stages across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

This is a rare opportunity for individuals interested in drama, film, and playwriting to learn, develop their skills, and showcase their creative work.
