Objective: The world of film and video production tools is diverse, with some boasting powerful features, others fast processing speeds, and others high quality and image fidelity. In recent years, some tools have emerged that are both free and capable of high-quality image processing, with Blackmagic being a prime example. Blackmagic's DaVinci Resolve is an industry-standard professional tool for color grading. Recent versions have added editing and audio processing features, making it even more comprehensive. It also offers a free version that meets the needs of basic users, providing a professional, free, all-in-one solution for media management, editing, color grading, and output. Additionally, for video post-production without the cost of software, Blackmagic's Fusion is the ideal choice. Combined with DaVinci Resolve, you have the fundamental tools for film post-production at your fingertips. This course enables students to understand the requirements and format settings for film post-production, as well as techniques for handling video formats, media management, editing, color grading, basic compositing, and motion tracking.
