Event Overview
This year's parade kicks off a series of festive Lunar New Year activities with the theme of the Tiger General's victory over a winged (epidemic) beast. The event features parades, cultural performances, and a float exhibition. Fourteen gorgeous floats, accompanied by performing groups from Macao, depart from the central and northern districts, bringing blessings and performances to audiences along the route. After the parades, the captivating floats will be on display, adding festive cheer to the city.
Event Schedule
First Parade
- Date & Time: February 3rd, 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM
- Route: Sai Van Lake Square (Opening Ceremony & Cultural Performance) → Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen → Macao Science Center
Second Parade
- Date & Time: February 12th, 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- Route: Rua Norte do Patane (Opening Ceremony) → Avenida do Conselheiro Borja → Estrada do Arco → Estrada da Areia Preta → Avenida de Venceslau de Morais → Rua Quatro do Bairro da Areia Preta → Avenida da Longevidade → Rua do Mercado de Iao Hon → Iao Hon Market Garden (Cultural Performance)
