Typography design and typesetting are currently very popular fields of digital aesthetic art, known for their professionalism and innovation. This course is a unique program dedicated to the exquisite design and creative art of font styling, providing a comprehensive understanding and arrangement of elements on a page.

This course is suitable for individuals interested in creativity, aesthetics, and design, who enjoy DIY projects and aspire to work in the design industry. A basic foundation in art and drawing is required. The course is taught in Cantonese, while the software is in English, so students must possess English reading skills. It is ideal for those interested in typography design, who wish to use their own designed fonts across different platforms and websites, and aim to adjust fonts to suit their users.
Students are required to have a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator.
Throughout the course, various examples of font creation and typesetting will be provided. You will not only learn the basic concepts and structure of designing text but also methods for the aesthetics of character styling. This offers enthusiasts of typography design or design professionals an opportunity to unleash creative ideas and learn more refined visual design techniques.
