A masterclass led by renowned Portuguese dancer and choreographer Alexandra Battaglia, focusing on the creative process of contemporary dance composition. This intensive workshop guides participants in developing personal dance works from improvisation.
Through a simple yet intensive open-level methodology, the workshop invests in the development of improvisation and creation as personal and relational work. By reflecting on the creative act and providing instruments for creation and composition, the possibilities of individual and group choreographic composition will be explored.
Participants will be offered exercises and proposals to explore, with dedicated time for observation and reflection. The goal is to potentiate one’s own creative expression, spontaneity, and authenticity related to the "Dancing Body".
