Macau is a place of cultural integration, where diverse customs shine brilliantly. Over four hundred years, Eastern and Western cultures have taken root and flourished here, creating Macau's unique cultural landscape and forming its precious "Intangible Cultural Heritage." Through classroom training and experiential activities, this program aims to enhance participants' understanding of local intangible cultural heritage.
The course content includes items listed in the Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory and the Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Through training and hands-on experiences, participants will learn about and engage with Macau's intangible cultural heritage, deepen their knowledge of Macau's traditional culture, develop their public speaking and presentation skills, and promote the preservation of Macau's intangible cultural heritage.
The course emphasizes the integration and application of different aspects of intangible cultural heritage. To provide students with a novel learning experience, participants will not only learn about the history and background of intangible heritage projects but also experience traditional crafts. They will learn traditional skills and exchange ideas with master craftsmen and contemporary artists, exploring their creative potential.
The course totals 33 hours, covering knowledge of Macau's Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory and Intangible Cultural Heritage List items, along with experiential activities. Participants who pass the assessment and maintain an attendance rate of 70% or above will receive a graduation certificate and be recognized as "Macau Intangible Cultural Heritage Young Pioneers."
