計劃緣起與目的Origins and Purpose of this Project

政府自2003年開始推動「文化創意產業」政策，其中教育部負責「藝術與設計人才培育計劃」，為此設有「鼓勵學生參加藝術與設計類國際競賽計劃」。此專案計劃為落實我國「大學校院藝術與設計領域人才培育」之目標，加強藝術與設計領域人才培育國際化，規劃國內藝術與設計教育與國際競賽接軌，擬訂獎勵辦法鼓勵全國藝術與設計科系學生積極參與國際競賽，藉由參與國際競賽作品之準備，提升學生藝術與設計創作的水準，並且透過參賽作品之觀摩學習，擴展學生國際視野以提昇專業的人力素質。

The government has been promoting the "Cultural and Creative Industries" policy since 2003. The Ministry of Education is responsible for "Art and Design Talent Development Plan", and builds "Award Incentive Program for Encouraging University/College Students to Participate in International Art and Design Contests ". This project aims to implement the objective, "development of art and design talent in colleges", and to strengthen internationalization of the development of art and design talent, establishing the connection between international competitions and domestic art & design education. It has also been developing incentives to encourage the students of domestic art and design department actively participate in international competitions, enhancing students' creative art and design standards by preparing entries, and developing their global perspectives and enhancing their professional qualities through experience of international competitions.
